Thank you so much for making these toys, they really allow even babies and toddlers to develop an independent connection with their heritage language! We already own the Tamil pad and now the Marathi pad is a big hit for my toddler's dinner soundtrack! I bought four so I could keep one and gift others to friends and family.
What's great:
- Love the entire design of the new pad device: If the device auto-turns-off and I manually turn the switch off, then the device stays silent instead of playing the goodbye music. The buttons are easy even for babies to activate. The pad has volume buttons. The mode buttons light up to show which mode is active. And the device tries to re-engage before auto-turn-off.
- Love that the entire alphabet fits on the pad while still keeping the buttons large enough for little ones, even the "wru" letter is included. Maybe a future version could include the letters for "a like apple" and "au like auto"
- Love that the music recordings are entire songs instead of 10 seconds. Complements to the singer and musicians, our family favorites are "Aapdi thaapdi" and "Mamachya Gavala Jauya".
One feedback: I feel the music portion can be better. The music can have more variety. Since there are 49 letters, I wish there were 49 different recordings. Also I wish the songs matched the noun/picture better like in the tamil pad, some of the songs are really unrelated to the picture.
