As a Filipino mom, I am so impressed with the Filipino Pad from LingoDodo! I bought it for the sole purpose of my kids hearing filipino words. They (5 yr and 9yr) didn't seem to show interest at first but they did end up being curious about it. I used it myself to see the hype, it's not a bad gadget. I only docked off 1 star because the batteries were dead upon arrival. I do recommend this to parents with much younger kids from 18 months to 3 year olds! It's a great additional to daily filipino language exposure.

We apologize for the inconvenience with the batteries upon arrival. During transportation, the batteries could have moved a bit in the compartment. New batteries shouldn't have been necessary. Just remove and reinsert the same batteries. We hope you and your kids continue to enjoy using the Filipino Pad™ for daily language exposure.
